These are pictures of my brother Brian's baby. Wells was born June 12th(ish??) but had had a stroke one week before he was born. They didn't know about it until well after he was born and having complications. To make a long story short, it affected the left side of his brain, thus the right side of his body. He was not expected to make it out of the hospital and it was a very difficult time. Brian and his family was getting ready to move to Vancouver Washington to attend Med School and the thoughts of burying a child was overwhelming and life stopping. Life sure gets put into perspective when things like this happen, and suddenly nothing else really matters. As difficult as it was, it was an awesome and humbling experience for the entire family to pull together. I am so proud of Brian and Liz and the awesome parents they are. Wells is now almost two months old, beginning to smile, and beating all odds. I am so lucky and have been given endless blessings to be thankful for. I have such an awesome family, they're all the best! Brian, I love you and Liz so much!!!!! Give Wells and Kayley hugs for us!

Jan! I am so glad you found our blog! Wow, it really connects you to people! Your family is SO CUTE! Brynlee (sp?) is a doll! And, Haivyn with that finger - ouch! Annie says hi to Cole and wonders how he likes teaching. I am teaching 1st grade and loving it! It'll be fun to keep in touch!
Janis, I'm so glad you found me. I've been wondering what you are up to. Your little girls are so cute. I can't believe you have one in preschool already. How do you like Emery County? I bet you are just the best mom ever.
Hey there Cous...Matt does have weekends off and we are always looking for an excuse to go play somewhere. I don't know what Price has to offer as way of entertainment, but we are always down for leaving for the weekend. We should come over and spend the weekend one time. We could play cards, go to a park, picnic, maybe camping. We are pretty easy. Give me a call the next time you have a weekend free and we will see what we can work out. I didn't know that Brian had almost lost a child.... I could not even imagine that. What caused it? We really need to get together. I am so out of touch with that side of the family. Please call when you get some free time. Love you a ton. Joni
Oh my goodness - what a trying experience. I hope he's doing okay?? You're right - that really would put things in perspective.
