So in the last five years that Cole and I have been married, other than a few times, I have always cut his hair! So I had to work again tonight and when Cole came home from school he asked me if I wanted to cut his hair before I left. No, not really, but sure, why not! So I had it all done, and was doing the final inspection, when I seen a few hairs on top. I extended the blade, and thinking the guard was on the clippers, went to town. I instantly realized what I had done, and you see the damage! Ever since we've been married, Cole's always threatened me with shaving his head. Needless to say, I ended up doing the job and ruining my beautician career. I guess it's a good thing I'm a nurse! He's been so embarassed, I feel awful! On a lighter note, it's not as bad as I was expecting, but yikes!!!

That is so funny. My husband actually was shaving his head for a while because he had some bald spots and since he has grown it back in they went away.

That is funny. My hubby cuts his own hair, he won't let me.My boys let me cut their's though.My oldest son decieded he wanted to go get it cut somewhere so we did and he will always let me do it from now on. The lady cut way too much off and he hated it, so from now on Mom gets the job and he is thankful that I do it :)
I have done the same thing before once when the boys were little. The good thing about hair...it grows back! At least he won't need a haircut for awhile!!

I used to cut my hubby's hair too....but then I think he decided the barber did a much better job cause I haven't had to do it in a bout a year. Seeing these pictures makes me think of what I could've done :) Love it!
Ok my husband has NEVER ever let me near his hair. Tell your hubby we thinks he looks muh macho:)

Janis, I check your blog every now and again since you left a comment on my blog and that story is hilarious! I seriously am sitting here laughing out loud, realizing that that is the reason Josh will not let me touch his hair! I'm glad you shared, because it totally brightened my day!
I have so done that before my problem is now how do I get Travis to grow it out he liked it shaved so much that he has keep it. Sometimes I don't mind it and it is easier to keep up because he will do it himself if I don't want to do it so I guess I should keep my mouth shut.
